Bill Powell, her first husband, Spence, and I were Clark´s only fellow Metro actors invited to the small private funeral. Clark beyond consolation would only talk to Fieldsie, Carole´s great friend and manager, Madalynne Fields. He wouldn´t talk to anyone else, no matter who it was. Myrna Loy
